Terms and conditions

Famously Tech is a software and digital-transformation company based in Kuwait and part of the Famously group. Our office is at 25 February Tower, 3rd Floor, Sharq, Kuwait City, and you can reach us at hello@famously.tech.

By using famously.tech, submitting a form, booking a session or making a payment, you agree to these terms. If you are acting for a company, you confirm that you are authorised to accept them on its behalf.

We offer consultations, workshops, custom software and app development, and monthly care plans. Descriptions on our website are summaries and may change from time to time.

Custom work is always quoted after a consultation. Each project is governed by a written scope and quote that you sign or approve before work begins. If that agreement conflicts with these terms, the signed agreement prevails for that project.

Quotes are valid for the period stated on them. Any work outside the agreed scope is quoted separately before we start it.

Consultations are paid sessions of 30, 60 or 90 minutes, held in person at our office in Sharq. Your booking is confirmed once payment is complete and you receive a confirmation email.

Please arrive on time. Each session ends at its scheduled time, so arriving late shortens it. Rescheduling and cancellation follow our Refund & cancellation policy.

Consultations are advisory. Our recommendations are based on the information you share with us during the session.

All prices are in Kuwaiti dinars (KWD). Online payments are processed by UPayments, and you can pay by KNET, Visa or Mastercard.

The price shown at checkout is the amount you pay. If any fees or taxes apply, they are shown before you confirm the payment.

We email a receipt to the address you provide once your payment succeeds. Card and KNET details are entered on the secure payment page of UPayments or your bank; we never see or store them.

Invoice pay-links are valid for the amount and period stated on the invoice.

Your workshop seat is reserved once payment is complete. Seats are limited and allocated in the order payments are received.

Where certificates are offered, they confirm attendance and are issued to participants who attend the full workshop. They are not an accredited qualification unless the workshop page says otherwise.

We may reschedule or cancel a workshop, for example if too few people register. If we cancel, you receive a full refund. If we reschedule, you can keep your seat on the new date or ask for a full refund.

Once you have paid in full, you own the deliverables we create specifically for you, such as designs, reports and custom code, unless your signed agreement says otherwise.

We keep ownership of our pre-existing tools, libraries, templates, methods and know-how. Where any of these form part of a deliverable, you receive a permanent, non-exclusive licence to use them as part of that deliverable.

Third-party software, fonts, images and services remain subject to their own licences. We will not name you as a client or show your work publicly without your permission.

Please give us accurate information, timely feedback and the access we need to do the work.

You are responsible for the content, data and materials you provide to us, and for making sure you have the right to use them.

Delays in providing access, information or approvals may move delivery dates.

We carry out our work with reasonable skill and care. To the extent permitted by Kuwaiti law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as loss of profit, revenue or data.

To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any service is limited to the amount you paid for that service.

Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited under the laws of the State of Kuwait.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Kuwait, and the courts of the State of Kuwait have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.

We always prefer to resolve concerns directly, so please contact us first before starting any formal process.

We may update these terms from time to time. The version published on this page, with its last updated date, applies to new bookings and purchases. Orders already paid follow the terms in place at the time of payment.
